Moving to a particular cell is easy, but is not always the fastest
way to travel. Two faster GOTO keys are the F5 key and the Home key.
The F5 moves the cell pointer in a single bound. You press F5, type
the cell name you want and press Enter. The Home key moves the
cell pointer to the upper left corner of the worksheet.

it is a number, formula or label. 1-2-3 calls numbers and formulas
values. The first key you press when typing a cell entry helps 1-2-3
decide whether you are going to enter a value or a label.

1-2-3 uses a list of choices (command menus) displayed in the control
panel as its method of letting you use the program.
The most important points are these:
1.
Menus have a multi-level structure. A selection at one
level may require another choice at the next. Only
one level at a time is displayed.
2.
There are two methods for choosing an item. You can point
using cursor movement or type by using the first letter.
3.
The Esc key is used to return you to the last menu you
selected. Note: Esc is also used to erase your typing.

If you wanted to change a value or label in a cell, you could move to
the cell and type the new entry. The problem with this method is that
the cell entry is erased and you must type in an entire new entry.
You could, as an alternative, use the EDITING method. In this case, you
start the EDITING by pressing F2.
